MEMBERSHIP

Any graduate student enrolled in a PhD program at OHSU who maintains good academic standing, is interested in biomedical engineering, and/or sciences is eligible to become a member of the chapter. All members are required to abide by the principles and conditions set forth by the Constitution and Bylaws of the chapter.

To become a member at least ONE of the following requirements must be met: 

​

1. Be a first year student in the BME program (including transfer and MD/PhD students in their first year associated with the OHSU BME Department)

​

2. Attend at least two events hosted by the BMES student group

​

3. Attend at least one general meeting 

​

4. Be involved in an BMES student group sponsored mentorship program

​

5. Serve on a BMES Committee organized by the Officer Committee Organizer 

​
